Book Review- The Homework

This book made us rofl and is a current favourite. Kittu and Bhattu have to write an illustrated essay about a big mammal. These two seem like model slackers who don’t know how to go about this. They seek help from their seemingly clever but snappy sister, Meena. Meena gives them bite sized information about the rhinoceros, nothing more. There is a lot lost in translation and what they end up illustrating is simply hilarious.
This is one of the most cleverly illustrated books we have read. The single line notebook page, the ‘cursive’ handwritten text cleverly placed, all make for a stunning picture book. We enjoyed this one a lot.
