Book Review- Tad
By Benji Davies
Tad is a little tadpole, much littler than her brothers and sisters. Being small, she knows she could fall prey to the ‘Big Bub’- the fish that eats frogs!
So she learns to live in the tiny corners and remaining invisible. Slowly she realises that her gang is getting smaller! Her brothers and sisters are missing everyday until she is the only one left.
The only one left, she is no longer invisible. She has to learn to escape and has to do something she probably isn’t ready for! But is she really not ready?
Splendid book on growing up, overcoming your doubts and fears and learning to get there at your own pace. Also amazing for understanding the life cycle of a frog.
Stunning illustrations in a palette so colourful- will spark lots of imagination and conversations.
Ideal for kids aged 3+yrs
